New Updates to the Roblox Museum

There have been a few updates to the museum that most of you guys have seen. I've have added dynamic lighting to the museum, added a few lamp posts, and added a few more figurines. Some of these are Jaredvaldez4 and Are92. Now, the museum will soon have a new section under development. This section will contain an information center and a small food cart just like the one in RobloxMuseum's museum. I will be adding this to have a more realistic view to the museum. Just to make it feel a little bit authentic. Now, if anyone has any ideas for the museum please pm me or a Historian. That's all for today. More will be coming soon!

10 Must See ROBLOX Games of Today

 

Similar to Superdarkman12's Post of the 10 must see Classics, I bring the 10 must see games of today.There are many terrible, and completely unimaginative games these days, but here are my 10, that puts the fun in Roblox for me.

Armoured Combat by Crazyjack 41

This is a game I play, a lot. It's a fun, tank battle featuring tanks from both the WWI, WWII, and the modern eras. A few examples are the Tiger, Tiger P, T-1, T-3, T-4, and the modern British tank, the Challenger II. This game uses a points system, every hit on an enemy, gives you some points, more for kills. Points can also be earned from your team winning. The teams are 4 on 4, Blue vs Green, usually, the team with more experienced players will win, since they have the big strong tanks, but some pro's of the game, use their weaker and smaller tanks, on the new people. It's a friendly but small community, and, if you earn the trust of the owner and play long enough, you may become an administrator and receive admin specific tanks, such as the behemoth fortress on wheels, the Ratte.


Call of Robloxia 5-Roblox At War by litozinnamon

 
This game, is an FPS war game with 4 on 4 teams, Nazi vs Allies. Featuring WII and modern guns, this game lets you have all the guns at start. With great close quarter maps as well as great maps for sniping joined by a near-flawless sniping mechanic, there are a variety of guns for different situations. There are Pre-set classes in game by default, but you can make and name up to 4 default classes, with the guns and perks that you desire. There isn't much to say about an FPS game really, just go around shooting.

Freeflight, a game by one of the best aero-designers and scripters, is a place many people visit. Featuring unused models from his games, you can fly a helicopter, a wingsuit, a plane, or glide in a glider. A game with over 2 million visits, if taken down, would probably cause roblox to lose a lot of people. The community is very large with mixed personalities, most of them, people who love crashing their planes into the calm steady helicopters, causing an explosion, while causing satisfaction to the plane flyer, can get the helicopter driver, to get quite furious. The wingsuit, the hardest thing to fly, ever. Using the mouse to steer angle, speed, and height, can be a little much to the average person. and finally, the glider. the most relaxing vehicle of the game. Just jump off a cliff, and off you go!

Pokemon Destinies by Rukiryo
 
Pokemon destinies is the place for any aspiring pokemon fan on Roblox. the game is still far from finished, but has a very good amount in it already. New people start with the Johto starters of Chikorita, Totodile, and Cyndaquil. They must train their pokemon by sending them out, and selecting their battle tool, then by clicking on a wild pokemon. There are many exclusive pokemon offered via gamepass, each for 300-400 robux, due to the Pokemon's strength. the owner himself, if you beat him in a battle, will present you with your very own Dragonite.  You may also catch as many pokemon on as you want, just throw a pokeball mid-battle at your target. Only being able to have the regular 6 pokemon at a time, there is also a PC, to store your extra pokemon. There are also gyms, but you need to find out which for yourself.


Apocalypse Rising by Gusmanak
  
You've all probably heard or have played this game before, the famous zombie apocalypse game.
You start with Character customization, afterwards you spawn in a random area, with a makarov, beans, and a pepsi. You will need to find items scattered in towns and barns in order to survive, as both zombies and players alike, are out for your blood. I won't spoil anything for such a great game for those who have not played it, so, Have fun!

Apocalypse risings rival in the apocalypse industry, showed up suddenly and gained a lot of publicity during the time apocalypse rising was having game issues. This game works more like the real thing, other than the simpler, but older, apocalypse rising. Adding in aspects like sound, vision, and bleeding, the game plays more realistically and more seriously.  During a new exploit rush, deadzone and apocalypse rising were hit hard, and called the other games bluff, of sabotage. These rumors were put down my both gusmanak and deadzonezackzak, and confirmed they did NOT send the hackers to each others games.


Medieval Warfare by Schematics
 
A game, featuring the 3 roblox races, Redcliffs, Overseers, and Korblox, in a 3 way war. when a new server is loaded, the first person to their desired kingdom, becomes the king, whom all members donate money to in order for the king to buy new facilities, like weapon shops, a farm, and a potion shop. you may also enchant your weapons. To earn money, cut down trees, mine in the mines, go fishing, or farm at your kingdoms farm, given it has one. The game focuses far more on RPG than pure war, kings may sometimes ally up against one kingdom, the most common being Redcliff and korblox against the far more popular Overseers.

The Conquerors, a real-time strategy game that plays as building your army and base, earning money, and destroying all who get in your way. Each game is 2 hours long, and most end up in tie games, despite at the halfway mark unlocking nukes and juggernaut infantry for the richest nations. To earn money, make sure you move a unit near a green brick, and then build a power plant, or the more powerful and essential for nukes, the nuclear power plant. Only one plant per team per brick is allowed. The game also has an ally function. All games will allow you to ally with at least one person, each game consisting at 6,  or the occasional 3v3, instead of the normal 2v2v2. I highly recommend this game to people with 2 hours of time as it is very fun, although it takes a while to get the hang of.

That's right, this websites very own museum is one of the must see games of today. While still unfinished, it has a lot of information already to help new Robloxians learn bout the past. There's information on Famous characters, Models and Meshes, and more!  This museum has already hit some publicity, even before the final product. Anything else about this great place, you'll need to find out yourself.


 
Pokemon Arena X by SomeRandomguysrg
 
Although this game was made in 2010, I put it on the list for 2 reasons. 1. It's a great game, and 2. It's still getting updates and still gets loads of visitors. Now, in this game, you take the role of a pokemon, you start out with some pokemon from each region, unlocking legendaries and stronger pokemon as you find their badge in-game. You can also battle other people, team up with them, or have a big RPG with friends. all in all, this game has a lot of features in it, with even more to come!
 

10 Must See Classic Roblox Places

Here are some old historic Roblox places many of you should see. All of these places which will be listed are unique in there own way. I strongly reccomend all of you guys to come to these places

Angel of Truth

The Angel of Truth is probably the most detailed place ever to be made on Roblox in 2006. This statue had  marveled Robloxians at the time. This statue showed the real potential on Roblox. A user named DigitalMessiah made this beautiful, majestic angel which is pointing up to the heavens. DigitalMessiah was an account made by the Roblox administrators to create this

magnificiant piece of art. Even though there are now many other statues surpass in detail and design, this is still a good place to see some of the early

pieces of Roblox ingenuity.

Mustafar

In a interview with Stealth Pilot (who now resides on the account PilotLuke) he revealed that his first famous game ever on Roblox was a game called Mustafar. Mustafar is a brickbattle Roblox game which is considered to be one of the first Star Wars based games on Roblox. This game was also featured in the second online Roblox Advertisement Video. This game features various mountains, a river of lava, and two buildings which are connected to each other by a bridge. Sadly, this game is no longer fully functional due to updates. The only weapon which still works in this game is the bouncy ball tool. Despite this, it is still a good place to go to learn more about Roblox.

✪Ultimate Paintball

Now this is a game most of you know. This is Ultimate Paintball, the one and the only. Ultimate Paintball was created by Miked (who is semiactive). This showed true originality and creativity on Roblox. This game features two teams. The Red Team and the Blue Team. Each team has it's own base. Once you spawn, you are given a specific paintball shirt and a paintball gun. The objective is simple. You are supposed to capture the enemie's flag and return it back to your base. This game was a popular hit and is still played today. This game has withstood the test of time and has become one the most widely known games on ROBLOX.

Thrillville

Thrillville is a game which was created by the user JJ5X5. Many of you have already heard about him and his game before from previous posts. Now I will go a bit more indepth about the gameplay of Thrillville. Thrillville is a game with no objective. It is just a themepark where you go on various rides which usually leads to death. You can also play with legokid. Legokid is a figure which responds to various commands given by a user. Thrillville shows how creative and fun some places were at that time. Even though they were quite simple.

Stairway to Heaven

Stairway to Heaven was created by tingc222. This game was also featured on the second online Roblox Advertisement Video. This game is a brickbattle game with an unusual design then most of the games of that genre. There are a few buildings, one church, and a few trees. There is also a grave next to the church. In the grave, there is also stair case that leads to the sky. This is why the game is called Stairway to Heaven. This place shows a good ammount of detail and unique design from early Robloxians. This is a good place to see the design of the buildings and to bring your friends to do a brickbattle with you!

Santa's Winter Stronghold

Around Christmas time, the Roblox team created a game called Santa's Winter Stronghold. Once you spawn in this game, you are supposed to gather the greatest ammount of presents and try to eliminate your opponents. This game is a favorite to many Roblox veterans. Sadly this game is shut down. There are various copies of this game you can explore which are almost exactly like the original.  I strongly reccomend coming to this classic Roblox Christmas themed place.

Crossroads

Now, almost everyone knows this game right? Well, for the people that don't know Crossroads is the first game ever to be made on Roblox. This Roblox game is a classic brickbattle like most first games. The game

as evolved over the years. This game features buildings on a mountain, inside of one, or just on a flat surface. Many Robloxians treasure and play this game knowing that it is the one of the greatest. 

Haunted Mansion

The Haunted Mansion, which was made by Shedletsky, is a brickbattle game which came out sometime in October 2006. This game was also featured in the second Roblox Advertisement Video. his game really proved Shedletsky's talent as a builder and scripter. This is one of the reasons he is one of the most popular Administrators. Anyways, once you spawn you will see a haunted house with various rooms, closets, and one basement. Outside of the mansion there is a small graveyard and various terrain. This game is a fun to play with friends and to just roam around and experiance some classic building style.

Chaos Canyon

Another classic brickbattle place, Chaos Canyon, is a western type style game where you destroy other players and terrain. There are various mountains, buildings, a partially destroyed temple, signs, and one giant staircase in this game. It is a truly interesting game in design. This could possibly be one of the first western type games. This game also has various models created by various users like Stealth Pilot and Tingc222. This is also a fun game to play with friends.

Sword Fighting On The Heights

Sword Fighting On The Heights is probably one of the most popular sword fighting games on Roblox. This game is also made by Shedletsky. Once you spawn in this game, you are in a arena with various obstacles. There is various locations where armor and swords (depending on version) are spawned. There are two versions of this game. One which is the first version of the game, the other the most recent version of the game. Many veterans play the original, because it really brings back memories of 2008 Robloxia to those members. This the first version is the one I would choose to go to.

New and Exciting Updates for the Museum

First of all, I'm sorry for not posting for awhile. Just been quite busy, but will try to add two posts per week on this site. Anyways, lots of new and exciting updates will be featured at our museum. More terrain, exhibits, and much much more. Many of you have already seen a new exhibit being put into the museum. This new exhibit features information of replicas of very famous, influential, historic, and unknown Robloxians. Eventually, this exhibit will be jammed pack with all sorts of Robloxians. So far we have JJ5x5, Miked, RobloxPolice, Clockwork, XXSONICTHEHEDGEHOGXX, and StealthPilot. Some other people we are planning to put into this is exhibit are Jacobxxduel, Jared2valdez4, Merely, Seranok, and TheGamer101. Of course there will be much more, but these are the users which will be definitely be used in the exhibit. More updates will be posted in the following weeks. Stay tuned! (Note: For everyone who dislikes SONIC and Jared, we are adding them because they had an impact on Roblox history.)

Clockwork's Return

Clockwork was a Roblox Administrator who had made the famous Teapot Turret and the game Dodge the Teapots of Doom. He joined Roblox sometime in 2007 as a intern, but left after about three months of being an intern. In 2008 he returned to the Roblox team and made a website, that has since been shutdown, named ROBLOX HQ which was claimed to have a lot Roblox information and possibly fun activities which were Roblox related. But, he later left Roblox. There are many theories on why he had left Roblox. One suggests that he was going to work for World of Warcraft, which is a popular roleplaying/action game to battle many monsters, wizards, etc. Another theory suggests that he was fired from Roblox. Even if these are not or not true, his account was later banned for an unknown reason. But, recently his account has somehow returned. We do not know why he has returned or how his account was reactivated, but all we know is that he is back and active. I hope he will create even more creative and ingenuitive creations as he had done in the past.

Game Review: Perilous Skies by Crazyman32

Hello! This is Heavy making another game review. Today I am reviewing a great game by one of the best plane designers in Roblox. Crazyman32's Perilous Skies is a air battle between the two teams,  Aces and Strikers. Everyone starts out with a mini-jet which is the most basic and weakest of eight jets in the game. Upon entering the game, you may experience a small glitch where your screen will become a blank color, in this scenario, you must leave and go to a different server. If this does not occur you will chose your plane and its color scheme, then it'll be time for you to enter the combat zone. The jet will automatically take off and you will be protected until the takeoff ends. The jets are very easy to control. To steer your plane you just need to move your mouse. There are 4 different type box location guis you will see in-flight. A blue box signifies a teammate, a green box signifies an enemy, a yellow box signifies a safe-enemy you have not locked your missiles onto, and red signifies an enemy your missiles have locked onto. To fight, click and hold the left mouse button to use your gun and press F to fire a missile at a locked enemy. Finally, I will discuss the upgrade system in the game. To gain upgrade points you must kill enemies and can do various air tricks. You can unlock special features and new planes with these upgrade points.This game is very well scripted and built quite nice and I do recommend playing it.
